John Paul College Swims Past $1million

John Paul College, Australia, has performed well to pass the $1million mark in its Aquatic Centre Capital Campaign. The P-12 School is located in the City of Logan south of Brisbane. The Campaign is run by Steve Whitehead, a former school parent. One of the highlights of the campaign was a fundraising event in which students and teachers raised $100,000 to name a lane in recognition of the students of 2006. The Campaign featured personal visitation, parents’ liaison for class groups, and dedicated groups of parents on the phones enlisting support. The Campaign had great community support and support from celebrities across a broad range of sports.
