Dr Daniel McDiarmid: new role of Chief Executive Asia Pacific

The chairman of the Board, Angus Pelham Burn was delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Daniel McDiarmid for a new position within the Group as Chief Executive of Asia Pacific.

Daniel takes this position with immediate effect and will have strategic responsibility for both Australia and New Zealand, and the Asia Pacific region including Hong Kong and Singapore.

Angus Pelham Burn commented, 'We have been very pleased with the growth of Global Philanthropic within the region and this new position largely recognises the importance of Asia Pacific in the Group's continued growth and development.

'We are delighted that Daniel has accepted this post given the tremendous success he has already had in supporting clients within Australia and New Zealand over the last four years, the increase in philanthropy in the region, and the increasing professionalism of fundraising in the Asia-Pacific region.

'We continue to build our business across the Asia Pacific region and are seeking to appoint a number of new consultants in Asia to support an increasing client base.'

'Daniel played an exceptional role in building our presence across the region and is without doubt one of the most experienced fundraiser and consultant in the region. I am delighted that he has taken up this new role.'

Daniel has also been appointed to the CFRE International Board. This organisation promotes the credential of Certified Fund Raising Executive for experienced fundraisers in the USA,United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere. Daniel was previously involved in the Job Analysis Taskforce of the CFRE.
