Global Philanthropic appoint Malcolm Hutton as Group Chairman

The Global Philanthropic President and Group CEO, Ben Morton Wright, was pleased to announce that Malcolm Hutton had succeeded Angus Pelham Burn as Chairman of the Board. Angus served for six years as the founding Chairman and is stepping down after his 77th birthday but has agreed to remain as an non-executive director. To honour the contribution made by Angus, Global Philanthropic has established a student bursary in his name at Harrow School.

Commenting on the appointment of the new Chairman, Ben Morton Wright spoke of the wisdom and leadership demonstrated by Angus, a co-founder of the Global Philanthropic Group who has helped the company to grow across the world and to take a leading role in philanthropic consulting. Welcoming Malcolm who has served on the Board since its foundation, Ben expressed the Board’s delight that Malcolm had taken up the post “Malcolm has a perfect mix of experience and understanding of the business that will be enormously helpful to guide us as we continue to grow and develop in the next phase."
