Global Philanthropic and Saints Information march together
Global Philanthropic has acquired New Zealand research firm, Saints Information, to increase prospect research services for all clients in the Asia-Pacific region.
Saints Information provides a range of services to non-profit clients to underpin fundraising activities including prospect and philanthropic research, information management, consultancy and training. Founded by Ms Louise Parkin in 1997, Saints has become a well-established and reputable firm with five staff based in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
"We have been working with numerous Australasian and international universities, charities and fundraising consultancies to research opportunities leading to organisational sustainability. Global Philanthropic has been one of our largest clients. The opportunity to merge makes perfect sense to expand our service capabilities for all existing and potential clients," said Ms Parkin.
Global Philanthropic is an international consulting and training firm providing fundraising strategy and advice for universities, medical research institutes, schools, arts organisational and aid organisations around the world.
Chief Executive Asia Pacific, Dr Daniel McDiarmid recognises the fundamental importance of delivering research-based consulting services.
"We have added millions of dollars in revenue to our clients by identification of local and international funding sources for their important work. Most institutions do their core work very well, but many have underdeveloped fundraising systems," said Dr McDiarmid.
"Our research-based approach enables institutions to be as good at fundraising as they are at their main business, whether that is education, research, the arts or international aid."
Saints Information will continue to be based in Wellington New Zealand, overseen by Managing Director Louise Parkin. All staff will remain in place and there will be very few operational changes. Clients can expect seamless and ongoing provision of service.
